According to the Federal Statistical Office, the German producer price indices for commercial products such as woodworking machines and cutting tools developed upwards in Januar 2023 compared to the previous month. The index for cutting tools increased strongly, while that for woodworking machines also gained more. Both indices significantly exceeded the previous year's level. In detail, the indices developed as follows:

woodworking machinery: 129,1 points ( 0,86% )

cutting tools: 118,5 points ( 2,33% )
