Lumber production in Canada increased 4.7% from August to 3 951.2 thousand cubic meters in September. Production was down 5.9% from September 2023, Statistics Canada reported.
Canadian sawmills shipped 3 929.2 thousand cubic meters of lumber in September, up 2.5% from August and down 1.2% from September 2023.
